Our Location
We are located in the heart of High Wycombe on High Street, with convenient access to shopping, restaurants and public transport. A bus stop for several bus lines is located right in front of our door, and High Wycombe train station is within a 3 minute walk from the practice. Parking is available nearby at Easton Street car park, which is within a 2 minute walk.
Our Premises
Our practice has three surgeries, two used by our dentists, Dr Elena and Dr Rishil, and one by our hygienist, Kleo. We also have two waiting areas with plenty of light and space, allowing visiting patients to feel comfortable without the practice feeling crowded.

Our small team of highly trained dentists, nurses and administrators is dedicated to delivering a wide range of dental services using the latest and most advanced technologies available in general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr Elena Belichka
Principal Dentist

Dr Elena Belichka holds a Master degree in Dental Medicine from the Medical University in Sofia. After graduating in 2001, she worked in Bulgaria as a dentist in private practice. Since 2008, Dr Belichka has practised as a dentist in several surgeries in and around London.
She is a friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated dentist, known by her patients for her gentle and caring manner. Over the years, she has attended many postgraduate courses and seminars to keep abreast of the latest developments and provide the best professional care to her patients. Dr Belichka has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry and endodontics. Her hobbies include yoga, dancing tango and hiking in the mountains.

Dr Rishil Patel
Implantologist

Dr Rishil Patel qualified from Kingโs College London, graduating with Honours in 2008. He completed his vocational training in the London scheme before working as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Barts, Whipps Cross and The Royal London Hospital. During this period, he obtained his Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons London.
During his time in general practice, he completed a Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Implant Dentistry, where his main interest lies. He carries out complex implant treatments requiring bone grafting and complex surgical extractions. He is also proficient in placing implants freehand and using modern digital technology with surgical guides. He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology.
Alongside implant dentistry, Dr Patelโs other interests include cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He is fully certified in providing Invisalign orthodontics and completed a course in Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry in 2012, as well as Advanced Occlusion and Treatment Planning in 2024. This enables him to treat complex cases and full mouth rehabilitations. Outside dentistry, Dr Patel enjoys cricket, travelling and spending time with his family and children.

Dr Neha Thakerar
Dental Surgeon

Dr Neha Thakerar specialises in oral surgery and dental implants. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2017, followed by foundation training in the North Central London Deanery. In 2018, she became a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
Since then, Dr Thakerar has undertaken additional training in hospitals across the UK, including Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and Addenbrookeโs Hospital in Cambridge. She has extensive experience performing oral surgery and treating very anxious and medically complex patients.
Dr Thakerar is approachable and helps patients feel comfortable and at ease. Outside dentistry, she enjoys long distance running and regularly runs half and full marathons. She is also a cooking enthusiast and enjoys board game nights.

Kleo Murphy
Dental Hygienist

Kleo joined our practice in 2013. She began working as a dental nurse in London in 2001 and was keen to progress in dentistry, so she went on to study Dental Hygiene at the Edinburgh Dental Institute, qualifying in 2006.
During her training, Kleo was awarded the Alice Lodge trophy for high academic achievement and, on completing her training, received the General Dental Councilโs prize for professionalism in 2006.
Throughout her career, Kleo has gained a wealth of experience in many clinical settings. She believes in building a strong rapport with her patients and strives to achieve the best results from the treatment she provides.
Our Equipment
At HW Dental Centre, we spare no resources in offering high quality care. We stay up to date with technological developments that can help us achieve this goal. This includes digital radiography to reduce radiation exposure, 3D scanning and artificial intelligence to improve treatment results, and advanced air purification systems to provide a safer environment for patients and staff.
